woe to the accommodation Gospel

Accommodation Gospel by David Wilkerson

Great article – long but much worth the read and heed.

I was listening to the radio in the car the other day – a sermon by John MacArthur. He spoke of how Christians will bear the reproach of Christ. We aren’t to be molded to the world, but we are to confront the world.

Hebrews 13 – This chapter will be a good one to pray as my daughter’s team goes on outreach to other countries tomorrow. vs. 13-14 “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.”

I have a Strength and Courage Promise Calendar from David Wilkerson – verses for each day.

Psalm 103
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
9 He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
